How to Start a Facebook Live Video

Facebook live video an exchangeable way to share moments with friends while going live streaming. The Facebook Live video feature launched in 2015 for limited people, But after some time Facebook makes it available for all users.

Here are the Processes to Start the Facebook Live Video.

Process in Android Mobile.


  • (For Android) Open the Facebook app and start to compose status. In bottom Go Live/ Live Video option will appear, tap on Go Live ➩ Continue.
  • Name your Fcaebook Live video and set the privacy (friend, public) etc.


Process in IOS mobile.

(On IOS) Open the Facebook app and start to share status, below the text area a list option will appear. Click on Live video ➩ Continue.


The top portion of the screen shows what viewer see with control button of switch between front and rear camera. And the bottom section is the notification for comments and show up of the new viewer. You can also add the filter effect to Facebook Live video. When streaming begin, your friends get an alert, notifying about your Facebook Live Video.

On IOS you can draw on the screen to symbolize to the viewer. The feature is missing on the Android version.


Process in Desktop.

Login to Facebook.com, click on “Live Video” option on your News feed. Then follow the option to give a description and set audience/viewer.
